MOSEM² Möbius Maglev Train at Université Paris-Sud in Orsay
On Thursday 13 October the Möbius maglev train track was displayed all day at the campus of Université Paris-Sud in Orsay.
The students attending the Supra-day on 13 October 2011 at Université Paris-Sud were able to see and feel the magnetic forces in action while Prof. Fréderic Bouquet demonstrated our MOSEM² Möbius track and explained the properties of superconductors.
Our exhibit was included in a day dedicated to superconductivity. Other versions of superconducting magnetically levitated trains and the “classic” levitation with Meissner effect and flux pinning were also displayed. Around 1000 students from all disciplines viewed the exhibitits during the course of the day.

Program for the Supra-day on 13 October 2011 at Université Paris-Sud, including the MOSEM² Möbius track demonstration.
